Dark Elves (Aelves)

The Dark Elves, or the Druchii as they call themselves, are the most sinister and sadistic of the three Elven civilisations. Secreted throughout the bleak, chilled lands of Naggaroth lie the Dark Elven Kingdoms of Witch King Malekith, a realm born from the depths of malice and hate.

Druchii infantry primarily consist of spear phalanxes known as Dreadspears, swordsmen units known as Bleakswords and repeater crossbow armed regiments of archers called Darkshards, which are supported by elite infantry and shock troops, such as the deadly Har Ganeth Executioners, who wield two-handed blades called Draich and are trained to kill with precision, heavily armed Corsair raiders, the sadistic and thrill-seeking gladiators known as the Sisters of Slaughter who use lethal whips and lashes to entangle the foe, scores of Witch Elves that enter battle in a drug-crazed killing frenzy - a power that is increased when they are near the dreaded Cauldron of Blood, a huge mobile Altar to the Bloody Handed God Khaine-, or a detachment of Malekith's personal guard, the implacable, ruthless and lethal Black Guard.
