The Game Trail Continues

Hello again gamers, a somewhat delayed but no less impassioned post about our recent goings on!

Dragonmeet 2019... ah the UK's friendliest gaming convention at the glittering and glamorous Novotel in Hammersmith. What a day it was, from start to finish we enjoyed meeting all of our customers, and making new friends along the way.

Every year at Dragonmeet it's a great experience and 2019 was no different, this year we enjoyed more space, and more products to show off and be rummaged through. We brought some of our stock of miniatures along for the first time, and they went down a treat! Seeing some older pieces solicited some interesting conversation for reminiscing and sharing past experiences. Some of you, being inspired by what you saw, even decided to start new projects that you'd been putting off for years. Next time we see you all we'll be bringing even more with us, and over the next few days you'll be seeing a whole lot more going live on our miniatures product page so keep checking in for new items.

Of course, we also had our Magic: The Gathering singles and sealed product with us, and seeing them cards fly out of our display folders and into your deck boxes for the myriad Commander, Modern and Pioneer decks being created made us realise what a brewers paradise it is out there right now. Pioneer seems great by the way. Where Brawl is yet to gain any real traction, we at Rogue's Gaming feel that Pioneer offers something that modern doesn't - an easier bar for entry. The ban list update makes sense so far, some well considered choices, and despite the two or three degenerate decks (I'm looking at you Hardened Scales), the format is shaping up to be somewhat of a staple in the line-up. We expect good things from this format, and it was a good time to launch it. Let's just hope it sees proper continued support at tournament level!

As far as our board game involvement goes we've been loving Paupers' Ladder by Paul Stapleton. Its had some great reviews on YouTube by many different creators, he also designed everything in the box, including the artwork! What a talented guy! Pick your copy up for a great price here with 10% off until January 1st!

Our Theros: Beyond Death Pre-Orders are live too, be sure to pick them up so they're with you on release day, and keep an eye out on our singles pages for older sets from Commander and the Return to Ravnica Block for all your Pioneer needs!!

Finally, thanks to all our customers and followers on social media for helping Rogues Gaming become a success. Happy gaming.
